The colleges are accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education.

located on 154 acres of sloping hillside land in eastern Ventura County, is the largest college in the district, with more than 13,000 students each semester. The college is home to over 75 disciplines of study and offers multiple student services to provide support and facilitate student success. MC campus life is enhanced through numerous clubs and activities, athletics programs, and performing arts. The Child Development Center on campus is a teaching lab with childcare available to students, staff, and the general public. The campus is also home to America鈥檚 Teaching Zoo, the county鈥檚 only public zoo. Moorpark College is the second oldest of the colleges, serving the community since 1967.听

听is located in Ventura County鈥檚 largest city, situated between beautiful beaches and sprawling farmland. OC has been a Hispanic-Serving Institution for nearly a half-century and offers over 60 disciplines for students interested in university transfer or career education. The main campus includes state-of-the-art facilities for instruction in dental assisting and hygiene (which enjoy 100% success rates), as well as a fully equipped industrial kitchen and caf茅 for hands-on training through OC鈥檚 Culinary Arts, Restaurant Management, and Hospitality Management programs. The college鈥檚 auxiliary site in Camarillo prepares students for public safety careers including firefighting and prevention, emergency medical response, and lifeguarding. Additionally, a Marine Education Center and Aquarium is located in the Channel Islands Harbor. The Aspen Institute recently ranked OC among the nation鈥檚 top 150 community colleges.听

, the first institution of higher education in Ventura County, has provided quality education for nearly 100 years. In 1955, the college moved to its present 112-acre hillside campus in eastern Ventura. It is a designated Hispanic Serving Institution, enrolling over 11,000 students each semester at two campuses. VC offers over 70 disciplines of study in STEM fields, business, the arts, education, social/behavioral sciences, liberal arts, and health sciences. It is the largest provider of workforce participants in the county in manufacturing, automotive technology, and nursing. VC鈥檚 main campus is located minutes from the beach. In the late 1970s, Ventura College opened a Santa Paula site, Ventura College East Campus (VCEC), to serve the needs of the growing community in the Santa Clara River Valley.
